About us

Kildare allotments is a newly established gardening development outside Kildare town. The area is divided into 16m X 8m segments. The allotments are located in an area with soil rich in nutrients ideal for the growing of vegetables. The rabbit proof fencing provided insures protection from our fluffy friends.

The sight includes canteen, a storage shed equipped with gardening tools, toilet facilitites, a picnic area and car parking. The quiet area in which it is situated ensures the gardener a true country-life ambience.

Growing your own organic vegetables can provide many enjoyable experiences including the pleasure of working outdoors, having an interesting novel hobby as well as knowing where your produce has come from and what treatment it has undergone while you are sitting down to feast on your dinner.
